The challenge cup has been continuously vied for since 1907. Teams throughout the Maritimes have the opportunity to challenge for the cup once a year. The winning team then travels to the next challenger's home to defend the title.
Glooscap defeated a team from the Halifax Curling Club Feb. 1 in their initial challenge and haven't lost since. They have beat teams from the Mayflower, Wolfville, CFB Halifax, Windsor and Amherst clubs. Glooscap will get to keep the cup during the summer and the men are looking forward to the next challenge in the fall.
