Notice of Public Meeting to Set Recreation Area Rate

(FHCA) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 7:00 PM in the Kingsway Assembly, 242 Belcher Street, Kentville, Nova Scotia. The primary purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the setting of the Recreation Area Rate and to hold a vote to determine if the FHCA shall make an application to the Municipality of the County of Kings for approval to continue the Recreation Area Rate of $60.00 per household for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. This rate will apply to each household in the Fox Hill Subdivision and those households in the Fox Hollow Subdivision within the Municipality of the County of Kings. All ratepayers living within the above-described area will be entitled to vote by secret ballot. The FHCA Annual General Meeting will be held after the vote to review the activities of the last year, discuss plans for the upcoming year, and nominate and elect officers for the FHCA Executive.
