Wineries have until May 5 to apply for award

The province is seeking submissions for its Lieutenant-Governor's Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines award.
Wineries looking to enter can submit up to three commercially available wines made in the province.
Wines will be tested in a blind tasting process with a panel of 10 independent wine experts.
Up to five wines will be selected for the award, which will be presented at an awards ceremony at the Government House in July.
Submissions for the award will be accepted until May 5.
