Getting in the Christmas spirit

Spectators fill New Minas street to catch annual Parade of Lights

Hundreds of spectators lined both sides of the street to watch the 22nd annual Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise Parade of Lights on Nov. 19. The mood was festive with some cooler temperatures and light snow falling on parade participants. Floats and other vehicles were brightly decorated with lights, delighting onlookers as they passed by the parade route. Christmas carols played as walkers marched along singing and wishing spectators a Merry Christmas.
